The evergreen theme for Canada Career Month is AMPLIFY.  During Career Month, we are all invited to #amplify career development. There are so many ways we do this naturally in our work as Career Development Professionals:

  • amplifying our voice in advocating for our sector
  • amplifying people’s awareness of the work we do
  • amplifying opportunities for under-represented groups
  • amplifying the voices of those advocating for social justice issues
  • amplifying the sector’s profile, visibility, and accessibility
  • amplifying the evidence base so career development is widely known and valued
  • amplifying innovation in our field

Advocacy in Action: Amplifying Career Development in a Changing World

Join us for a FREE virtual event as we celebrate the vital role of career development professionals in shaping the future of work. The collaboration brings together leading organizations from across North America and beyond to highlight current advocacy efforts and the importance of career development in today's rapidly changing world.

North American partners, NCDA, CCDF and CERIC will host an engaging panel discussion featuring dynamic career development leaders. They will explore key advocacy initiatives from Canada, the U.S. and globally that seek to bring greater awareness to the value of career development and the vital work of career development professionals. This will include a focus on how you can become part of these initiatives.

Calling all career development professionals, career coaches, career educators, teachers, mentors, employers! Whether you attend a local event, host your own, or become a sponsor, contribute to this national celebration of the great work you do in helping people reach their goals and carve out their preferred future.

Each November, Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast celebrate the importance of accessing meaningful work and all those that help us in connecting with our preferred futures. Canada Career Month volunteers work to advance the agenda of improving access to career services and education so that all Canadians are better prepared to develop their careers and transition into the emergent labour market.
